Hunter spent the majority of his childhood in Overland Park, Kansas. In 1993 Hunter’s father, a physician, took a position with Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, bringing the family to Arizona. A great piece of advice from his dad was, “whatever you decide to be, be the best and whatever you do, don’t go in to medicine!”

With a passion for economics and finance and a revulsion for blood and biology, Hunter graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. While attending his undergraduate studies, he balanced college life and military life by being an active United States Marine Corps Reservist from 1999-2005. Hunter was honorably discharged in 2007 having attained the rank of Sergeant. Hunter was honored to serve his country and considers his time in the Marines as, “the most fun he never wants to have again.”

Hunter first began working in the financial services industry in 2004. He brings a vast amount of banking, insurance and investing experience to Wealth Management Solutions. After starting and selling a small business, Hunter worked for several other large financial companies before coming to Wealth Management Solutions in 2021. In Hunter’s words, “My prior experience in corporate America honed my skills necessary for a successful career. What I now realize is my true passion is having the ability to serve clients in a much more comprehensive manner, which is best facilitated in a small office setting.”

Hunter is married to his beautiful wife Lindsay and resides in Gilbert, Arizona. He spends time with his daughter and son attending their cheer competitions and BMX races. In his early adulthood Hunter competed in the Arizona Ironman Triathlon three times. Hunter enjoys reading, golfing, and has always been an avid automobile and aviation enthusiast.
